Time is like sand

Slipping through your fingers... I've come to the point where I needed to actually scribble down my to-do list on a little slip of paper. This appears to be a yearly recurring event. Luckily, I was able to cross out already two items from the list today.

Next week, I'll be presenting Daisy at the Free Software in Education conference in Leuven. I'm used at presenting at trade shows and technical conferences, but this is a total first-timer for me. I tried to get rid of all English idioms in my slides, and I'm honestly wondering how I'll manage. My track chair already warned me that I need to steer clear from technicalities at all cost. That'll be fun. :)

Unrelated, I'm starting to grasp what difference a 25% increase in headcount means to our little company. Like Debian packages for Daisy, for instance. And being hurried down my to-do list so that others don't have to wait for me.

But now: weekend! Drugs, dirty dancing, and pounding technomusic. Or rather: spend some quality time with friends along the seaside.
