Perception isn't always reality - on the use of BEA Weblogic
Netcraft has posted an interesting new report on the usage of servlet engines. Interesting because it confirms my impression that Tomcat is used in production more often than one would suspect, and also that Bea, who used to claim developer's top-of-mind as the container for industrial-strength serving, comes in at a measily 4.6%, after IBM and Oracle.It's good to see the small-scale, open source or low-cost containers heading the pack: Tomcat, Resin, Orion in its Oracle outfit, and Jetty are all there.
