Marc, himself, his blogs, and you reading them.
Yesterday ended up being one of those days... Packed. With (some new) faces, with (thought-provoking) thoughts, with opinions, with emotions too. Lucky me had a long enough commute in the evening to do some postprocessing on what flashed by. Main residu was this notable albeit strange feeling of gratitude about just having lived the experience. Every now and then it's just great to be me :-) Yeah, I'm a lucky bastard.
Uh, that is more emo then I'm used to dump, but I just notice that I'm not the only one today :-).
Apart from the personal remarks above, interesting to the broader world would be:
- Steven promised to put the presentations on-line sometime soon.
- Daisy's documentation site now runs on the 1.3-pre release in svn-head. Be sure to grab a feeling of the new variants feature ('variant' is just short for placing documents in release-branches and language-translation sets)
- The Daisy site ranks up to number 8 at google which doesn't seem too bad for a flower-name that yields 4.9 M hits by itself.
*update* Steven just did the publishing thing. # Posted by mpo at 10:04 AM | Comments (0) | TrackBack (1)
Naah, not the habemus papam stuff out there, but the finalization of our pursuit for a new employee for the outerthinking shop. Still some time before he actually shows up at the office, but pretty excited about it already.
And there is more excitement around a room nicely filling up for our daisy-show on thursday . Just got a preview on Steven's slides in preparation, bringing some clear messages accross and ensuring quality information time for those who signed up already... And yeah, to me they show how much of the work I've been missing while being off on another project lately. (feeding my immagination of the amount of ground Bruno has been covering) :-) I'm quite sure thursday will offer them some moments to be proud over the welldone job...
So, it's exciting times, and not only for catholics!

One can safely state we've been busy. Anyways, the project had some time to assemble a decent list of todo's, I hope not to distant future will show some of that pinned down to a roadmap with many willing hands covering it.
For the newbies and screenshot lovers: the Live Demo is up again.
