Looking at the bulk of mail I received this morning from my Favourite Sun Employee it looks like Java's tiger release is getting it's official marks set...
Time for a poll: who's in a spot where today still JDK 1.3.something is an absolute 'must support'?

Ant 1.7 is busy trying to fix some java1.2.x regressions; we only just abandoned hosting under 1.1 in the 1.6 release.
why so? well, because tools shouldnt dictate to users which version of java they should use.
