This is a pertinent extract from Alex Stigliano's up coming work detailing the underground Sydney Music scene as it was in the 90's
"Formerly of world acclaimed band Bobafet hailing from the hills district of Sydney's affluent Northern suburbs. Michael met the guitar genius of Nick Repole, together they took the Sydney underground music scene to the heights of glory. Never deciding to release an album, considering it 'sucking up to the boorish masses and crawling to the white technocrat capitalist hemogony
Those blessed enough to witness them in their heyday, the heady days of mid 90's Manning Bar hedonism say that 'Nick really sucked man' which in the post Mudhoney backwash of those days was the most esteemed of compliments.
Michael left the band in 1995 amid allegations that he was in love and couldn't play with as much fervor as previously, closing the book on a legendary chapter of Australian rock history. Sources closer to the band claim that he just couldn't play anymore, experiencing an early case of Linux box building mania he just couldn't find the time to do his hair properly before venturing on stage. The resulting hair mooshing and over***ed appearance in those sad late days of the band can be witnessed in countless bootlegged videos. His belated christening by the University of Sydney Arts intelligencia as 'You Am I Boy' a sad parody of a once highly respected bass god."
