A good friend of mine Bernard Leach has got Linux up and running on the Apple iPod. Brilliant stuff, way to go Bern!
Perhaps when one of the JDK's work on the iPod we can get Cocoon onto one of these :)

Posted by: Sylvain Wallez at April 3, 2003 11:39 AMHi Sylvain! Yes, interactivity is a good question mate, but at least running Linux there's now the ability to add things to the iPod like peer to peer sharing, ogg support, a better filesystem, among other things. My favourite request is DJ style scratching :)
Bern's also talked about making it possible to use the HDD on the iPod for storage (eg. digital photos, etc), which would be nice too.
Cheers,
Marcus
